Wedding Cakes

Phil and I are getting married on Friday the 14th. We met in Fall 2007, in an Imperial China history course. Of course I knew he was meant to be mine, but he took convincing! After a few abortive attempts to ask each other out for the first time, and then a disastrous first kiss here we are. Getting married and leaving for a ten month study/honeymoon in Chengdu, China. How much more exciting can it get? (On the down side, on Monday I am having wisdom teeth pulled, and while I appreciate the juggling of appointments necessary to see me so quickly I really wish I could have done this sooner because I can just see myself all groggy and doped up at my reception, maybe drooling.)

But, to the important stuff, we are baking about one hundred cupcakes for our reception. We also made some marshmallow fondant, and are forming roses and forget-me-nots.

5. Chocolate Chai Cupcakes with Chai Spice Buttercream
So I like cream cheese frosting. What of it?
